The two things considered to define genocide about the Darfur incident are both parts A and B on the world without genocide conflict. Part A is “killing any members of a group” and part B is “causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group”. With all members of the Darfur group located in Sudan, near northeast Africa, the civilians are raped, tortured, and killed by the Janjaweed. The militia men involved in causing all of this harm is rivals with both the Sudanese Liberation Movement, and the Justice and Equality movement. As from the example above you can see that death was just part of another day and the militia could care less what they did to these Sudan people.
