Based on world without genocide, the Darfur incident is indefinitely considered genocide. The term genocide is defined as “the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.” The incident began in 2003 and still carries on to this day. The killing of men, women, and children in 2003 was the beginning of the first genocide that took place in the 21st century.
